The Awakening Sounds

Kevin smiled at Anna, "Maybe we should ask her when she is done dealing with Akuma."

Anna smi;ed and nodded, "i need to give him something though...." she said softly, "follow me i need to go find it."

Kevin nodded then followed Anna inside the house.

Anna walked to a flight of stairs that led to Trira's home which was above the clinic, and walked to her room. as she walked in she went to the desk near the bed and pulled open the top drawer and searched through it for a letter. after a few minutes she found it, and smiled in victory

Kevin followed Anna but took his time, looking around the house before entering the room Anna went in then saw the letter, "What's that?"

"it's from Akuma's old love. she asked me to give it to him." she replied and walked around Kevin and back down to the clinic

Kevin blinked, "Akuma had a love?" he said then turned to follow Anna. Akuma had awoken but was too sore to try and move. Jack sat beside his bed, "I told you.." Jack said with a smirk, Akuma merely rolled his eyes.

Anna nodded and when she got to the bed Akuma was in she held out the letter, "this is from her...." she said softly

Jack and Akuma both blinked, "From who?" Akuma said at he glared at Anna.

"Aithine....." she said softly looking away from Akuma afraid he was going to attack her

Akuma's eyes went wide before quickly taking the letter, before opening it though, he looked over to Anna, "If this is a joke, I am gonna gut you alive and eat out your heart." He said darkly before turning his attention back to the letter.

in the letter there was one sentence, "don't forget me." and inside the envelope there was a necklace that aithine had made for him. Anna looked down at her hands silently. she hadn't read the letter and didn't know what would happen after he read it

Akuma read the single sentence, he looked in the eveople. Taking out the necklace, Akuma's eyes began to water. He closed his fingers around the necklace as he closed his eyes, "When..."

"20 years ago......we had been traveling for a while and she had writen it for you.....and when we fought people again......she was killed and she decided to die insted of being reborn......" Anna replied sorrofully

Tears fell down Akuma's face, he really did love her...but the war..."Why...Why did I have to go back...she was all that I had and...now..." Akuma said, feeling his heart break in two.

"she really loved you......you were basically all she would talk about.....and i'm sorry....." she said softly, "i'll leave you alone.." she said bowing and leaving the room

Kevin frowned as he watched her leave. "Go to her, Kevin." Jack said, Kevin looked to him but nodded and left to follow Anna. "Anna-chan." Kevin said before grabbing onto her hand.

"yes?" she questioned softly not looking at him. she missed Aithine the girl was like her sister after the others died

Kevin opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. Kevin stood there for a long moment, silent before hugging Anna, "I'm sorry..."

Anna turned and hugged him back silently. "aw look at the cute little lovers." a male voice said teasing the two.

Kevin felt bad for leaving...everyone left after the war...ALex...Alice...Jack...Nick...everyone...Kevin felt so bad for leaving Anna but yet didn't know why. Kevin was pulled away from his thoughts though when he heard a male talk, Kevin looked over to whom it was and blinked, "Who are you?"

Takanori laughed, "you don't need to know that." he said smirking., Anna looked at the man and blushed, he was hot!.

Kevin blinked at the strange man, "You kinda weird." Kevin said bluntly to him.

Takanori glared at Kevin, "whatever kid is the doc in?" he asked.

Kevin nodded his head then looked to the door of the house, "She is inside but-" Kevin said but then there was a crash followed by, "Damn it Akuma! Just lay down and heal!" It was Jack.

"Akuma! lay down now!!" Trira shouted at AkumaTakanori smirked, "seems like she's got a handful." he chuckled darkly. Anna looked up at Kevin then back at the stranger, "what do you want with Trira?"

"I told you before, I hate being stuck in bed!" Akuma growled. Kevin looked back to the stranger, still holding onto Anna, "Maybe you should come back at a better time..." He said.

"na i think i'll go get what i came here for." he said smirking. Trira shouted at Akuma to lay down. Anna looked to the room and then back to Takanori, "please leave Ms. Trira alone, she's really busy and doesn't need you you make her busier." Anna said staring at Takanori.

Akuma started to swear in japanese as the noise continued. "Please, I am sure it won't hurt if you can be patnet and wait." Kevin said in his normal tone.

"nope~ doc said she would have it today and i want it so im going to take it weither she likes it or not." he said with a smirk as he walked into where they were having such trouble, "hey doc where's my cash?" he asked. Trira groaned, "not now Takanori, come back later."

Jack glared at the man, "Come back later." He said, sounding like he wasn't in the mood for this. Jack was holding down Akuma who looked like he could chew steel and spit out nails, Akuma kept saying stuff in Japanese. "I did ask you if you could wait." Kevin said from the doorway.

"Doc i told you want would happen if i didn't get the money when i came right. so hop to it." he said with a smirk. Trira froze and loock at the ground for a moment, "Jack eatch him..." she said the hurried to get what Takanori asked for.

Both men froze when he said that then both looked to him, "Are you blackmailing her?" Jack asked as he stood up. Akuma did so too but surprisingly walked to a bed and sat down, "Low life scum like you is the reason why this realm falls." Akuma growled.

"i'm not blackmailing her, we had a deal. i held up my end of the bargin now she needs to hold up hers." he said with a smirk, "it's none of your business." Takanori said.

"Eh? Your an even bigger ass then Jack." Kevin said as he blinked. Jack sighed as a sweat drop formed on his head, "Ie ie, Kevin, you always don't have to be so blunt."

"thank you i do try." he replied with a smirk, thinking how she (reila) had told him he was an ass alot.

"I can't remember but I came here looking for you, Jack...but I can't remember what I wanted to say." Kevin said as he blinked when sighed, "Bother..." Jack blinked but smiled, "Ie ie, its alright." Akuma chuckled, "Shows what you think, human...gah what is that stench!" Akuma said as he plugged his nose. "That would be him." Jack jerked a thumb over to Takanori.

Takanori chuckled darking shaking his head, as Trira walked back into the room. Anna walked over to Trira worried, she know what would happen if trira didn't have what he wanted. "i-i only have some of it just give me one more week....please takanori.." she pleaded. Takanori smirked, "nope and now since you don't have all of it, i'll be taking my prize." he said wrapping an arm around Anna's waist and snapping his fingers making the two dissaper into flames. (he can transport with his flames.)

Kevin blinked, trying to peice together what just happened. "Err...I would get down." Jack said as he moved to shelter away from what was about to happen. Akuma didn't ask at all, he could scene the air becoming thicker. Kevin's fist balled into a tight fist as he gritted his teeth, suddenly he released a large amoung of his element energy as wings sprouted from his back, "Where did he take her?" he asked as he looked up, Kevin may not understand emotions but now he can feel them. Kevin was down right mad. His normal handsome gray eyes had slits instead of pupils.

"i-i don't know.....they say he makes deals and then if he takes a female......the girl is never heard from again........no one knows where he lives, making a deal with him is like making a deal with the devil......." Trira said softly. "Anna volenteered......she told me if i couldn't get the money to tell him.....to take her......." the elder woman looked at the ground ashamed at what had happened

Akuma shook his head, "That idiot." he said then looked to Kevin who's wings disappeared from his back and fell to his knees, "I...I am so sorry...Anna-chan..." He said softly. "Don't worry, we will get her back...err I will since Akuma can't." Jack said then walked into the middle of the room, "I can still feel his energy signal. I can trace it to where he is." Kevin looked up to Jack then smiled, "Thank you, Jackie-san." Jack nodded then closed his eyes. A ring of light appeared around him as he gathered as much info on where they were as he can before the energy signal disappeared. "Almost there..." Jack said. Everyone was quiet for what seemed like forever till Jack said, "He is in the forest for around a day away..."

Trira said nothing looking at the ground sadly

"what do you want with me?" Anna questioned Takanori, who had placed a circle of fire around the girl. Takanori looked at her with a smeik, "truthfully nothing, i just want Doc to know that people do shit like this if ya don't keep deals." he replied leaning agenst a tree. she gave him a confused look, "and it's fun to scare people shitless." Anna rolled her eyes.

"I can go to their location sooner." Kevin said serious as he stood up and sprouted wings again, "Just give me the direction." jack nodded, "South till u reach the forest then head east." Kevin nodded as he walked outside then took off, not caring if anyone saw him, "Anna-chan..." Kevin thought, "Be ok."

"your little boyfriend will probably be here soon." Takanori said with a sigh, "well pinky see ya!" he said snapping his fingers and vanishing, leaving Anna in the circle of fire. "Hey wait! let me out of this thing! bastard!!!" Anna shouted as he vanished

Kevin followed Jack's directions but when he for to where Anna was, it was getting to be dark, "Anna!" Kevin called out as he landed, "Anna, are you alright?"

Anna turned and saw him, "Kevin! yeah i'm fine. he left, but he left me in this damed circle thing." she said pointing to the wall of fire.

"Not a problem." Kevin said as he did hand signs then slammed a hand to the ground, "Expel!" he said then the firewall was gusted away. Kevin went to Anna and hugged her, "I am so sorry." he said.

Anna hugged back and said, "why are you sorry? it's not your fault. and it's not Trira's either." she said smiling

But Kevin shook his head, "No I mean...for running away after the war." he said. The day after the war, Kevin ran away looking for Jack cause he thought he was still there...but after years, he realized that Jack was gone.

"it's alright." she said smiling, "it was your choise and you needed to do what you needed to do." she said
