The Awakening Sounds

Eric squinted his eyes to see who it was then saw it was Bou, his eyes widen a bit then he quickly looked away.

she came back up again with a few shells then swam over to the pier and placed them on the edge, then dove back under the water

Eric looked over again and saw she brought something up, he got up and walked over there to see the shells. He crouched down and at them.

a few minutes later Bou surfaced again at the peir with more shells, when she saw Eric she imediatly went back under the water

Eric looked to Bou when she came back up and he stumbled back a bit, "I ah...I...sorry..." he said. Eric's face a little red.

she heard him and slowly surfaced again but only her eyes showed above water as she nodded to him

Eric looked down and rubbed the back of his neck, "I just...came over to see the shells..."

she fully surfaced her head, "it's alright..." she said softly

Eric's face turned a bit more red, "They are...very nice..."

"are you ok?" she asked him noticing his face getting red. she jumped out of the water and onto the peir and placed a palm on his forhead, "you don't have a fever....."

Eric jumped up saying, "I'm fine!" but tripped over a log buried in the sand and fell over on his back.

Bou stood silently and held a hand out to him, "a-are you ok?" she asked pushing some of her blonde hair out of her face

Eric's face went more red, inside he was thinking, "WHy in the damned hell am I acting like this!" Eric stood up quickly and brushed the sand off himself, looking down, "I err...yes...I am."

Bou nodded silently then turned and took a running start and then dived into the water.

Eric turned around and slapped a palm to his forehead, "Stop it, right now." He hissed at himself.

after a while Bou still had not come up for air. she had gotten her foot caught inbetween rocks.

Eric had noticed something was off, Bou hadn't come up for air for a while. "Bou?" He said as he walked closer to the waters edge, "Hey Bou, not funny, come up." Now a normal person wouldn't have heard her at all but thanks to the Sound Element, Eric's hearing was 10x's better then anyone. He was able to hear others heart beats if he wanted to and he heard Bou's, "Shit!" he said as he dove into the water and swan where Bou was.

the girl was just floating lifelessly being kept down by the rock.

Eric saw her foot was caught in the rocks. He couldn't pull it out without it hurting her and he couldn't go get help either. Then an idea came to him. He pressed his fingers to the base of the rock and released a small burst of Sound Wave to break the rock. It wasn't too small that it wouldn't work under water but it wasn't too strong to hurt either of them. The rock crumbled and Eric swam to Bou and dragged her to the surface. Eric gasped for air then shivered, the water was freezing, "hey, Bou, wake up." He said as he swam to the shore.

Bou remained still and lifeless

Eric brought her to the shore and wiped the water from his face, "Bou, wake up." he said then checked if she was breathing, she wasn't. "Crap!" He said as he ran his fingers through his dark brown hair. He only hoped he remembered how to do this right. He pinched her nose and touched his lips to hers as he started to do CPR (thats right ladies). "Come on, breath." He said as he pressed down a few times on her chest (well...u know where, I can't describe CPR too well :3)

after a few tries the girl began coughing up water

Eric sighed in relief then dragged his hand over his face, "Bou, Bou are you alright?"

Bou nodded slightly. "how did i get here?" she questioned

Eric shivered again, "You got your foot stuck in the rock...I jumped in and got you here..." He said, not saying that he had to do CPR on her.

"t-thank y-y-you...." she said softly, closing her eyes and falling asleep

Eric blinked, "Hey wait!" He said but she already fell asleep. Eric couldn't just leave her out here so he picked her up and walked back to the house, "Damn it...damn freezing..." he said under his breath.

Yuki looked over at the door seeing Eric carrying Bou and both of them soaking wet, and shrugged.

Eric looked over to Yuki, "A l-little help if-f you don't m-mind." Eric said with a tired glare at her.

Yuki looked over at him with a bored look, "na your a big boy." she said.

(yuki s a bitch sometimes lol)

Eric was too tired to argue, but he was going to add 1 thing, "She is YOUR sister after all." then he went upstairs.

"yeah....but i'm a lazy fat ass." she said laughing

Eric mumbled as he went into Bou's room and placed her on her bed. He checked her foot to see if it was ok and it was, thankfully. Eric shivered again as he sat down on a chair beside the bed and rubbed his temples.

Bou slept silently and didn't move, but this was normal

Eric closed his eyes as his heart raced for a moment, it was normal when he uses his Gift when he was tired. It soon passed then he started to fall back asleep.

Bou continued to sleep oblivious of the male

Eric's head rolled over to his left as he slumped in the chair, droplets of water trickled down him.

Bou woke up not to much later, and saw him

Eric was still asleep, he was still wet from the water and looked a bit red.

Bou got up and got a towel and put it over his head to try and dry him

"I'm sorry..." He mumbled in his sleep as he rolled his head the other way.

Bou smiled softly at him, then went and got him and extra blanket

Eric shivered again as he frowned in his sleep.

Bou place the blanket over him softly so she wouldn't wake him then crawled back into her bed

Eric's brows creased together for a second then he slowly started to open his eyes, "Bou?"

she sat up slowly and looked over at him, "yes?" she said quietly

Eric sat up in the chair as he rubbed his forehead, "Nothing..."

Bou nodded and laid down.

Eric stood up, "I...am...going for a...walk..." He mumbled.

"be safe." Bou said quietly before falling asleep again
