Nothing is ever easy...

William was walking around Golum Stream Lake, just for the hell of it. He was ditching school and for a good reason. It was going to be Valentine's Day soon. The people at school were getting things ready and like everyother year, William was at the Lake to get away from the husle and busle.

Rene was walking around she was supposed to be starting school soon but her dad said she didn't really have to so here she was completly bord and ready to cry she sluped down against a tree and put her head in her hands

Will saw a girl wandering around, he put his hands in his pockets as he looked at her. She looked like she was upset, "Hey you!" he called out as he walked over to her, "You ok?"

Rene's icy blue eyes looked up she nodded her head "y-y-yea im ok" she stuttered trying to hold tears back seeing this boy reminded her just how alone she was in this life *flash* 'bow-chan!!' *flash* rene shook her head to clear thoughs thoughts

Will frowned as he crouched down beside her, "Hey, I know something is upsetting you...what's wrong?"

she smiled sadly "j-j-just lonely i guess i just moved here so i-i-i dont have any friends and i just got in a fight with my dad" she said sighing 'why am i telling him this?' she thought

Will sat beside the poor girl, "Awe geez, that was mean of your dad." he said as he put an arm around her shoulder, "And why don't you have any friends?"

Rene blushed at the arm around her but leaned into him "w-w-well dad says i dont need to go to school cause he said im b-b-b-better off alone but i dont think thats right.....friends give you strenght..." she said tears spilling over and running one by one down her face

"Well he shouldn't say something like that and hey, if you don't have a friend...I'll be your friend!" William said as he smiled, in a chipper voice. he felt sorry for her, and this time, it wasn't because she was a poor person.

Rene blushed and smiled "r-r-really?" she asked in a shy voice she smiled a heart warming smile and said "oh my name is Rene, Rene Moon. whats yours?"

"My name is William Fern but call me Will...so why are you skipping school?" William asked as he still smiled at her.

Rene blushed "well you see i went to the school to get signed in but...it was so busy they told me to come back later" she smiled

"Yeah...It's because of the Valentine's day dance...." Will said then sighed, "They do it every year and it's still lame but all the girls are so damn giddy about it..."

Rene giggled "i've never been to a dance.." she blushed "but thats partly on the fact i cant dance" she sighed

"really?" Will said as he blinked at her then looked to the sky, "Well dancing is fun...just the theme's are sometimes lame..." He said then looked back at her, "Hey, I am going to have a party tonight...how bout you come?"

Rene smiled "o-o-ok" she stuttered she looked up and said "jinx get down here" a pure black cat landed in her arms she giggled and started to pet the cat

Will jumped a bit cause he didn't expect the cat to be up in the tree but laughed a bit, "Well that was surprising..." Will said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Rene giggled "forgive him jinx is very quite" she laughed

"Na na, It's alright." Will said as he smiled, "Cool cat though..."

Rene nodded "yup he's very...well...capable" she frowned 'i can't tell him about what me and jinx are dad already hates me because of it' she thought then there was a noise behind them "there she is!" they yelled rene's eyes widened 'who are they?' she thought

"What the? the ERC shouldn't be in this part of the woods." William said then looked to rene, "hey we have to run."

Rene nodded 'i-i'm gonna have to do it' she thought "jinx! size up!!" jinx shifted in to the size of a horse Rene climbed on she reached her hand out "come on" she said her eye's cold and blank

"Wow!" Will said as he jumped back, he thought there was something wrong but if he was caught out here, he would be dead too so he grabbed hold of Rene's hand and jumped on.

Rene pulled him up "hang on" she wispered "jinx sun burst!" she said jinx took off running they ran till Rene thought they were far enough away and her and will climbed off "jinx size down" jinx went back to normal Rene looked down

"WOw that was insane." Will said as he watched Jynx shrink down then looked to Rene, "So your a Element User?"

(That is wat they r called now)

rene looked up shocked "yes are you?" she asked praying he was she wanted someone to talk to about it

"No sorry but I think the practices aren't necessary..." William said as he looked down then to Rene again.

Rene sighed "i think my dad is the reson that they came after me so im sorry i got you in to thst mess" she said looking down blushing

"Na na, it's ok really...but we should get out of here before they find us." Will said as he looked around.

Rene nodded and smirked "you wanna see my powers first hand?" she asked "i can take us from here to the school in less than 5 seconds" she said smileing

Will laughed, "Yeah I know, I have read about the Elements."

Rene smiled "well then i'm just gonna have to let you see it then!" she said she grabed his hand and yelled "light port!" then they were behind the school Rene's hand still in wills she giggled

Will blinked, feeling a bit dizzy from the transporting, "Oh wow." he said then shook his head and laughed, "What a rush."

Rene giggled and tryed to step forward only to trip she started to fall

"Wow!" Will said as he fell over too since she was still holding onto his hand and he fell on top of her. (Well not right on top of her, he put his hands out)

Rene blushed "o-o-o-o-o-o-oh im s-s-s-s-s-so s-s-s-s-sorry" she stuttered a bright pink blush staing her cheeks

"Oh it's ok." Will said as he smiled but was too blushing.

rene smiled a sweet smile and leaned up she kissed his cheek

Will was surprised when she kissed him but smiled, "Umm...Thanks for saving my hide back there..." he said then kissed her.

Rene blushed but kissed back

William started to kiss her more passionately.
